Dr. Caitlin Giesler

Dr. Caitlin Giesler M.D., F.A.C.C., is board certified in nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. Following a residency in internal medicine The University of Texas-Houston Medical School, she completed a fellowship in cardiology, both from the University of Cincinnati Medical School, University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. During her fellowship, Dr. Giesler pursued research on heart failure in women and evaluation of cardiac biomarkers in hospitalized patients. Her special interests include prevention through risk factor modification and optimal medical management, nuclear cardiology and heart disease in women. She attended The University of Texas-Houston Medical School in Houston, Texas.
