MARY ANNE CONNOLLY has spent nearly 20 years in journalism. She worked for 10 years in New York as a production associate for ABC News’ “20/20” and Stossel Specials, then as a newsmagazine producer for FOX News at “FOX Files and the Fox News Channel, followed by eight years as a regional managing editor for Texas’ “Brilliant and executive editor for Austin Woman magazines. She has chased paparazzi in Paris for Barbara Walters, traveled with Chris Cuomo, edited scripts for Bill O’Reilly and interviewed Willie Nelson in his legendary tour bus. She’s covered breaking news and assisted on both international and local live events. In Austin, she’s proud to have produced over 72 issues in six years of Austin Woman magazine. Connolly’s passion is content and storytelling, as well as editorial craft and creation. She founded MACMedia to help clients navigate the ever-changing and multi-faceted media landscape, from traditional to new media, with a focus on high-tech, healthcare, academic, nonprofit and arts clients. Known to her friends as “MAC,” she also sings, plays a bit of piano and guitar and serves (and sings) on the board of Grammy-winning choral group Conspirare, and also serves on the board of Alliance Française d’Austin and is outgoing PR chair for Freelance Austin. @maryannecomm @macmediatx
