Norine Yukon is leader of UnitedHealthcare – Texas, serving beneficiaries in Medicaid, CHIP, Long Term Care and Dual Special Needs Programs. Yukon began working for UnitedHealthcare in 1987. After holding various high level positions across the country in the managed care industry, she returned back to UnitedHealthcare almost 20 years later. In2009, Yukon helped to build the Mississippi CHIP plan, and was transferred back to Texas in 2010. Yukon has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, and she has been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a neonatal intensive care unit. She has been appointed by several Governors to various task forces, advisory committees and transition teams for health and human services. She currently serves on the Austin Meals on Wheels board of directors, as well as the Pier Committee for Core Health Foundation. Yukon has lived in Texas most of her life, and is proud to have graduated from The University of Texas.
