Cris Graham

Cris Graham was born and raised in Fredericksburg.  She graduated from Selwyn School in Denton and attended the University of Denver.  Cris then worked as a Montessori teacher at St. Mary’s Hall in San Antonio.  As an Air Force wife living in The Netherlands, she was responsible for American families stationed in that country while their husbands were deployed to Desert Storm.  After her husband retired from the Air Force, the family returned to Fredericksburg.  She went to work at Luckenbach, managing the store and co-producing Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic for five years.  A few years later, she opened Hondo’s in Fredericksburg, combining the magic of Luckenbach with great food and music.  She has also served as a member of The Governor’s Commission on Women.

Cris has two grown children – Alice Welder and Captain John S. Graham – and three grandchildren.
