Mica McCutchen Mosbacher

Michele “Mica” Mosbacher fills a number of leadership positions in the worlds of business, international trade and philanthropy. As sponsor and director of Off-Track Events at Godstone Ranch Motorsports, Mosbacher successfully blends these areas via the popularity of motorsports racing. Godstone Ranch Motorsports, a 501c3 non-profit corporation, was formed to raise awareness and funds for select charitable organizations through the professional Grand-Am racing circuit. Godstone and its ruby red Ferrari 458 GT recently formed an alliance with the American Red Cross of Central Texas.

Mosbacher also serves as the Honorary Consul General to Iceland, a position she was appointed to in 2010. She is Vice Chair for the University of Houston Board of Regents and was appointed to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) host committee. Mosbacher was inducted into both the Texas Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She was instrumental in bringing the public art installation, Tolerance, to Houston which features sculptures by the renowned Spanish sculptor, Jaume Plensa. Mosbacher serves on the board of the American Hospital of Paris Foundation.

The widow of former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Robert Mosbacher, she is an award-winning feature writer and motivational speaker.  Born in Florida, Mosbacher grew up in Houston and received her communications degree from the University of Texas.
