More information about volunteering as a resume reviewer at the 2016 Texas Conference for Women:
The TX Conference for Women recruits local and national career experts, coaches and professionals to help our conference attendees address their most pressing workplace questions and challenges. In the resume review portion of the Conference Career Pavilion, attendees have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one resume critiquing sessions with HR and career service experts from local colleges and universities.
Those volunteering to assist with the resume review portion of the Career Pavilion will receive a complimentary conference registration as well as recognition in our Conference program and our Conference website. Conference registration allows for access to both our opening keynote session as well as the seated keynote luncheon program.
For those wishing to sign up to volunteer to review resumes at the Conference, please sign up for three shifts using the link above.
The Resume Review sessions will take place throughout the day of the Conference (Tuesday, November 15th from 7:30am until 5pm.) Each Resume Review volunteer should have a total of three shifts.
WHAT TO DO THE DAY OF
The day of the Conference, please arrive at the Resume Review area, located in the Career Pavilion section of the exhibit hall, at your designated start time (unless a keynote session runs over).
There will be long table stations set up with table tents placed in alphabetical order for each resume reviewer. Please find your seat upon your arrival. We will seat attendees with resume reviewers on a first-come, first-serve basis. We have allotted 20 minutes for each Resume Review session.
