ASHLEY DIAZ MEJIAS has devoted her work to researching and writing on racial bias. She has written for blogs and led curricula for institutional conversations on race, systemic bias, and mass incarceration. Mejias lives with her family as part of an intentionally diverse community in the East End of Richmond, VA and pastors the English congregation of a Korean church. Her first book, Erasing Institutional Bias: How to Create Systemic Change for Organizational Inclusion (Oct, 2018), was written along with Tiffany Jana, and was recently selected by Publisher’s Weekly for the Most Anticipated Fall Books list in the Business category. Mejias earned an MA in religious studies at UVa and an MDiv at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond.
