Carla Piñeyro Sublett is a sales and marketing executive at Dell with a passion for making an impact in the community. She is currently the executive director of marketing for Latin America, where she and her organization drive all facets of marketing in the region, from demand generation to overall brand health. Prior to this role she had responsibility for the Americas internal sales organization which helped achieve over $4 billion in annual sales. Sublett started a fitness group across North America, called Thrive, which focused on helping promote networking through exercise among team members. As a result, several participants experienced life altering weight loss and lifestyle changes. Sublett is also a founding member and co-chair of Adelante – a Hispanic employee resource group at Dell. Adelante focuses on driving impact to the business, community and the professional development of its members. She is the president of the board of the Thinkery, formerly the Austin Children’s Museum, where she has served for over three years. In 2011, she was awarded The Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever award by the Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility, and in 2013, was named one of the “Top 50 Influential Hispanics in the United States” by Hispanicbusiness.com. Sublett is an alumna of The University of Texas at Austin, where she studied architecture and Latin American studies. @dell
