Connie Bergquist

CONNIE BERGQUIST is a staff software engineer at Visa Inc., and currently focuses on long term architecture and performance as a scrum master for her own development team for Visanet – Visa’s payment network. Bergquist is very involved with efforts around emerging technology and innovation and helped lead the Global Hackathon at Visa’s Austin site. With five years at Visa, she plans to transform the technology and solutions used within Visanet to maintain Visa’s position as a leading technology company. Bergquist is passionate in developing and promoting women’s technical excellence in the workplace and sharing knowledge and experience to help promote culture changes on gender stereotypes. She serves as a board member of the Visa Austin Women in Technology Employee Resource Group (ERG). Bergquiest earned a BS in business computers information systems from The University of North Texas, and is finishing her MS in engineering management from The University of Texas at Austin. She also has intensive study and exposure to negotiation training and tactics. @visa
