Debbie Jones is the owner and creative force behind French Laundry Home. She based an entire business on an old grain sack found at a flea market. From her home in High Point, North Carolina she tapped into the wealth of talent in the textile industry and was able to reproduce what she describes as “that wonderfully tactile, original cloth.” At first selling only fabrics by the roll, French Laundry Home burst into the market in 2009. What started out as an idea to reproduce a fabric made over a hundred years ago, has now evolved into a company that produces a complete line of upholstered furniture and home furnishings. Passionate about putting American craftspeople back to work, French Laundry Home employees over 30 people in the High Point facility. Jones attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and today continues to adhere to a personal and rock-solid motto: “no idea is ever too small.”
