Jumelie Miller

JUMELIE MILLER serves as health services director of the Star+Plus managed Medicaid Nursing Facility Services program of UnitedHealthcare Community & State’s Texas Health Plan. She is responsible for leading the clinical service coordination team, responsible for providing holistic, person centered care, at the health plan for the Star+Plus Managed Medicaid nursing facility population. She joined UnitedHealthcare in 2010 and has over ten years of experience in the healthcare industry as a registered nurse. She has worked in both the public and private sector, with an emphasis on public health care and government products such as Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Miller served eight years in the United States Army assigned to the 4215th United States Army Hospital. Her research focus includes reduction of barriers to care and improving health equity in the medically underserved and minority population. She earned her BSN and MSN from University of Texas Medical Branch. @uhc
