LANA CARLSON currently lives in Austin, Texas, where she has been the head curator and co-founder of the Pop Austin International Art Show since 2014. She also serves on the SXSW Art advisory board. Prior to conceptualizing POP Austin, she was director and founder of the Modern Art Gallery in Paris and St. Petersburg. Carlson has an extensive education and multiple degrees that cover arts and business. She is fluent in English, French and Russian. She and her Russo-Parisian team were responsible for curating and producing the first-ever State Museum Exhibitions of Auguste Rodin at the Tsaritsyno Museum in Moscow and The “Peter and Paul Fortress” in Saint-Petersburg in 2012. As a dealer and curator, Carlson put together numerous exhibitions and participated in art fairs around the world including Art Asia Miami, Hong Kong Art Fair, ARCO Madrid, and the Los Angeles Art Show. @popaustinart
