Michelle Goan

MICHELLE GOAN, MSN, MBA, RN, is a director for the Star+Plus program at UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Community & State Texas Health Plan and a registered nurse. She has over ten years of experience serving vulnerable populations through state and federal programs like Medicaid and Medicare. As a previous Medicaid recipient, her passion derives from her personal experience as she understands the obstacles this population faces. She is committed to the mission and vision of UnitedHealth Group (UHG) by helping people live healthier lives and to help make the health system work better for everyone.  She is a member of the diversity and inclusion council within the Texas Health Plan and a business of healthcare ambassador for UHG. Goan earned a master in business and a masters in nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler. @UHC
