Carla Harris Says: Fear Has No Place in Your Success Equation

Carla Harris is a one-of-a-kind leader: a Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley and a gospel recording artist who has performed sold-out conferences at Carnegie Hall six times. She’s also a dynamic  expert who offers impactful career guidance based on her many books, including the most recent Lead to Win. 

Last time she spoke at the CFW, she talked about the importance of getting comfortable with risk. 

“If you consider yourself a leader of any kind in today’s environment—and oh by the way, I believe you can lead from any seat—it is critical that you get comfortable with taking risks. We are working in an environment of gross uncertainty,” she said. 

“And hear me clearly,” she added. “Fear has no place in your success equation. Anytime you approach anything in your life from a position of fear, you will always underpenetrate that opportunity.”
