What are the Conference hours?
Convention Center doors open at 7:00 a.m. and the Interactive Hall opens at 8:00 a.m.
Session I programming begins at 8:45 a.m.
The Conference ends at 5:00 p.m.

What is the best way to get to the Convention Center?
We recommend using CapMetro rail transit (get off at the Downtown stop), taxi, or carpooling.
If you’re planning to drive, please carefully review the parking advice on our Travel page. You’ll find maps, prices and even an option to reserve discounted parking in advance!
Parking lots and public transportation stations around the Austin Convention Center fill up quickly. To avoid stress, consider using the complimentary shuttle service from the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Road) to the Convention Center. Be sure to have both a Plan A and Plan B for traffic, parking, or other possible delays.

Where can I park?
Parking options can be found on our Travel page. You’ll find maps, prices, and even an option to reserve discounted parking in advance through SpotHero!
In addition to available parking at the Austin Convention Center garage, complimentary shuttles will be running from the Palmer Events Center garage from 7:30am–5:30pm.
Parking is $10.00 and attendees pay upon entry into the garage. Cash or card accepted.

Tickets And Entry

What is required for entry?
Starting September 25th, your badge is available for download directly from your registration. It will also be emailed to you on September 30th.
Your printed, hard copy badge is required to enter the event. You will wear your badge all day and a lanyard will be provided on-site.
If you do not receive your badge via email, log in to your registration account to download it.
If someone else registered you and you do not receive the badge email, contact the person who registered you and they can resend it.

What if I forget or lose my badge?
In the event you lose or forget your badge, you may visit the Help Desk located outside the Interactive Hall, near MR2.
Expect a wait and avoid the lines by printing your badge at home!

What should I wear and bring?
Many attendees opt for a business casual look. You will be walking a lot, so we suggest comfortable footwear!
There is no restriction on the type or size bag you may bring. All baggage is subject to search at security. Empty bags will be available for you to carry any purchases.
Don’t forget your resume if you’re planning to take advantage of the complimentary Resume Review service in the Interactive Hall. Sign-up is in-person on Conference Day.

What if I need help with my registration?

Lunch

What time is lunch?
Lunch will take place in Halls 3 & 4 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., during a scheduled intermission within the keynote session (which runs from 10:15 a.m. – 1:20 p.m).

Is there assigned seating for lunch?
The keynote session, where lunch is served, is assigned seating. Your table assignment is located on your badge.

Do you offer a vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten-free option?
All attendees will receive a complimentary boxed lunch and filtered water. For menu specifics and the option to select an alternate lunch option that is both vegan and gluten-free, visit the Conference Lunch page.

What if I have special dietary needs and/or allergies not satisfied by the alternate lunch option?
If the alternative lunch option does not meet your specific needs, you are welcome to bring your own food for the day.

What is the flow of the day?
Browse the agenda for a snapshot of the day’s programming.
The day includes one keynote session (10:15 a.m. – 1:20 p.m.), three program sessions (at 8:45 a.m., 1:45 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.), lunch break (11:30 a.m.), an end-of-day party sponsored by Liberty Mutual (4:00 p.m.), and free time built in for networking, 1:1 career coaching, resume reviews, and to explore Interactive Hall offerings.

When can I see the keynote speakers?
The keynote session takes place from 10:15 a.m. – 1:20 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break intermission starting at 11:30 a.m.
Seating for the keynote session is assigned. You can find your table number on your badge.

When do the breakout sessions take place?
Program offerings — including breakout sessions in meeting rooms & ballrooms as well as workshops and interactive events throughout the Interactive Hall — are offered in three time blocks throughout the day:
- Session I program offerings take place from 8:45 – 9:45 a.m..
- Session II program offerings take place from 1:45 – 2:45 p.m.
- Session III program offerings take place from 3:15 – 4:15 p.m.
Some sessions will be repeated so you don’t have to miss your favorite speakers and sessions.

Do I need to sign up for any sessions in advance?
Advance sign-up is NOT required for program offerings outside of the keynote session; however seating is first-come, first-served at all other program offerings.
We encourage you to review the agenda in advance to plan out which sessions you want to attend, and have a backup in mind in case your first choice is full.

When does Resume Review and Career Coaching take place?
Complimentary 1:1 Resume Review and Career Coaching will take place throughout the day — except during the keynote program — in the Interactive Hall.
Please note that services are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up in person on Conference Day in the Interactive Hall.

Is there a coat /luggage check available?
Yes, a coat/ luggage check will be available from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Level 1 Palazzo, adjacent to the Help Desk.
The cost is $3 per item, CASH ONLY.

I am a nursing mother — where can I pump & store milk?
There are three Nursing Mothers’ Rooms available in the Convention Center, on Level 1 (one at the Trinity Box Office, and one near MR1) and Level 3 (across from MR 10C).
You’ll find privacy, electricity, and refrigerators in each room.

Do you have accommodations in place for the hearing impaired?
The keynote program will be closed-captioned.

What if I need another accommodation?
The Conference for Women wants to create an inclusive and accessible experience for all attendees. We request 30 days advance notice of any special accessibility needs. If you have questions, please reach out to [email protected].

Are men’s restrooms available?
Most restrooms have been converted to women’s, with the exception of the following men’s restrooms:
- Inside Keynote Hall 3&4
- Inside Interactive Hall 1&2
- On the 4 floor near breakout session rooms

Is there an ATM on site?
An ATM can be found outside Exhibit Hall 2-3, next to the Business Center.

How do I sign up for Career Coaching or Resume Review?
Appointments are first-come, first-served and are open from 8:00 a.m.–10:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
Look for signage in the Career Hub inside the Interactive Hall.

Where can I find a listing of this year’s exhibitors?
A current list of exhibitors can be found on the Interactive Hall page, as well as in the Conferences for Women app and on signage in the Interactive Hall itself.

What networking opportunities are there for attendees?
Visit the Networking & Connections area within the Interactive Hall to participate in Small Group Peer Networking Meetups.

Do I need to purchase a separate ticket for the March 5, 2025 virtual Conference?
Your ticket to the October 2nd in-person Conference includes access to the March 5th virtual event. There’s nothing more to do now, and we will reach out via email with instructional information closer to March.
