The UnitedHealthcare Community Connection Pavilion

Exhibit Hall | Open All Day

Please visit our Community Connection Pavilion and help UnitedHealthcare and its partners make a difference in the lives of families in need. Here, you can support the Austin community and beyond, with hands-on involvement, donations and volunteer opportunities.

Here’s how to get involved at the Conference:

Goodwill Industries of East Texas and Central Texas have been helping Texans for decades. Goodwill Industries is a 501c3 non-profit organization who helps Texans through its job training, job placement, social service and counseling programs. Goodwill Industries depends on the gently used donations of clothing and household goods to supply retail stores in Texas. Revenues from the retail stores help support the services and programs offered, such as:

• GoodTemps, a temporary staff service
• Re-entry for ex-offenders
• Computer Classes
• Personal Social Adjustment Training
• Job Coaching
• Goodwill Digital Career AcceleratorSM

DONATE: Please bring travel-sized items for kit assembly, including:
shampoo | body wash | toothbrushes | toothpaste | hand sanitizer

Drop off your donated toiletries at the UnitedHealthcare booth (#607).

If you didn’t bring your items to donate, but would like to help, please stop by and ask how to connect after the conference!

Texas Women Helping Texas Teachers

Hurricane Harvey is a distant memory for many of us but thousands of Texas teachers are still working in temporary spaces and trying to restock all the classroom materials lost in that epic storm.  Attendees at this year’s Texas Conference for Women can support Texas teachers by funding teacher-defined projects from impacted schools across the 41 Harvey-hit counties. The Rebuild Texas Fund will provide a 1:1 (2x) or 4:1 (5x) match on your gift so more teachers get the supplies and materials they need!
