Anu Rao

ANU RAO is a senior director at Visa in HR shared services with twelve years of progressive experience in the shared services space. She was responsible for transforming the delivery of Visa’s HR services by designing, staffing, and transforming Visa’s worldwide HR service model to HR shared services in less than eighteen months, realizing $500K annual savings. Rao currently manages global HR operations and recruiting coordination across North America, LAC, CEMEA and Asia Pacific. Prior to Visa, Rao was with Advanced Micro Devices where she was instrumental in repatriating services from a vendor-based model to an in-house model with 90% of HR operational activities transitioned into shared services from different teams globally. In other companies she has managed payroll, onboarding, and HR web content. Besides teaching in a hotel school, she has also worked as a management consultant responsible for doing internet market analysis for multiple companies. Rao earned an MBA from Arizona State University. In her spare time, she helps support CRY (a non-profit organization that supports underprivileged children) and choreographs dances to Bollywood music. @visa
