Azita Ardakani
AZITA ARDAKANI has always applied the lens of social anthropology to her view of the world of marketing, using an extensive background in sociology. Ardakani founded Lovesocial, a creative communications agency, as a B Corporation in 2009 in Vancouver. After rapid growth, the company relocated to New York City in 2014. Through Lovesocial’s mandate of authentic marketing strategies, she has forged a new kind of entrepreneurship, which mixes profit with purpose. Ardakani is a mentor at TechStars NYC, and Columbia University’s CORE program as well as an advisor to Hootsuite, Beespace and I AM THAT GIRL. Lovesocial has been tapped by clients such as NPR, Converse, The Nature Conservancy, Tribeca Film Festival, Nike, O, The Oprah Magazine, Joe Fresh and others. Ardakani was named in Forbes’ 2015 30 under 30 list. @azita
