ELAINE WELTEROTH is an award-winning journalist, NYT bestselling author, TV host and influential founder whose work bridges advocacy, storytelling, and style. After spending more than a decade climbing the ranks of magazine journalism, where she became the youngest editor-in-chief in Condè Nast’s history at Teen Vogue, Elaine penned an instant bestselling book More Than Enough and built a television career as a beloved judge on Bravo’s Project Runway, a co-host on CBS’ The Talk, Hulu’s The Conversations Project, and remains a go-to voice for live coverage on E! and ABC. Elaine’s top-rated Masterclass on redesigning your career and her popular advice column “Ask Elaine” in The Washington Post have helped thousands navigate pivots with more ease and less angst. She has been the face of campaigns for Audi and SoFi. After becoming a mother, Elaine harnessed her influence as a storyteller and advocate to become one of the nation’s most prominent voices addressing the maternal health crisis. In 2024, she founded birthFUND, a fast-growing nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to safe birth care and life-saving resources for families across the country. Backed by founding partners including Serena Williams, Gates Foundation, and Pivotal Ventures, birthFUND has raised over $3 million for families in its first year. She has been recognized as a leader in her field by TIME, Inc’s Female Founders 500 List, and her work has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, The Today Show and Good Morning America. Elaine currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two baby boys.
