Jill Griffin

JILL GRIFFIN leads an Austin-based executive coaching firm, JGEL. She is particularly passionate about helping women rise. She grew up in Marshville, North Carolina surrounded by wonderful teachers who inspired her love of writing. Griffin is a Forbes.comcolumnist, and internationally published Harvard Working Knowledge author.  Follow These Leaders is her sixth business book. She helped found NACD/Austin, and served on the membership and program committees.  Griffin serves as an independent board director for NYSE-traded Luby’s/Fuddruckers Restaurants. She recently appeared on Fox News Mornings With Maria and Wharton University’s Women@Work radio hour. On both programs she shared real-world strategies and tips from her book, Earn Your Seat on a Corporate Board. Griffin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS and MBA from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business, is the recipient of the school’s Distinguished Alumna Award, and was the Spring 2018 commencement speaker for MBA and PhD graduates. @loyaltymaker
