Karyn Desai

KARYN DESAI is senior director or digital products with Visa. She is a program management professional with over fifteen years of exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Currently she is a senior director and chief of staff to the VP of product, digital solutions at Visa.  She is an active supporter of several employee resource groups at the Visa Austin office, including the Women in Technology and Visa Pride groups. Prior to Visa, Desai worked as a program and project manager with several companies, notably Cisco and Wageworks, where she was responsible for planning, tracking, and driving the execution of complex, cross-functional software product development projects.  She has a proven ability to manage multiple large scale programs that are consistently on-time and on/under-budget and is effective at articulating new ideas and concepts to all levels of management, customers, stakeholders, and peers. Desai is an experienced leader with a solid track record of improving project profitability through application of technical expertise, strategic planning, team supervision and project management capabilities. Desai earned a BA in international relations and Chinese civilization from San Francisco State University. @visa
