Executive Mentor | On the Radar: Workplace Strategies for Getting Recognized

With a 25-year tenure at Oracle, Laura Fritz serves as Vice President of Business Planning and Operations for the Customer Solutions for Industries organization. She began her career in retail, specializing in operations, product purchasing, and merchandising before pivoting into retail software design and consulting project management. Building on this foundation, she moved into operations as a resource manager before advancing to business planning. In her current role, she leads Oracle’s global operations for its industry consulting organization, where she designs and launches programs that streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and instill best-in-class business practices. She champions processes and policies, from resource planning and revenue accounting to pricing and contract governance, that align day-to-day operations with strategic financial objectives. Outside of Oracle, Laura sits on the board of the Friends of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park, where she advances community engagement, historic preservation, and education. An alumna of the University of Texas at San Antonio, she applies her academic learnings to real-world challenges every day. Driven by a belief that strong mentorship unlocks human potential, Laura coaches rising female leaders, fosters inclusivity, and cultivates an environment where high-performing teams thrive.
