Sara Hobson

SARA HOBSON joined Cisco in January 2017 as the director of US commercial for the global virtual sales and customer success Americas team.  In this role, she is responsible for driving $1.8B of the business in the SMB market for current customers, new logos as well as renewals. She is also responsible for driving innovation across the entire organization as Cisco continues to transition to a software based company.  Working to develop the next-generation sales organization that leverages digital marketing and AI selling, Hobson is transforming the virtual sales team for Cisco. Hobson brings more than fifteen years of experience to Cisco, with relevant experience in cloud, security and software companies. She has worked in both public and private sectors, led both direct and indirect sales teams as well as marketing and outsourcers during her tenure at Computer Associates, LexisNexis, Cryptek and SteelCloud. Her recent accomplishments include being named one of the Top 100 Women in the Channel for the past 3 years, and receiving awards for both America’s Honored Professionals and Top Leadership. Hobson earned a BS in marketing, communications and a Business Law degree from Babson College.  @cisco
