Colleen Brewer

Colleen Brewer becamevice president of sales and marketing for the Austin American-Statesman in August 2011. Brewer has worked in the media industry for more than 20 years, building a reputation based on matching media solutions with her customers’ needs. Before moving to Austin, she was vice president of sales for Gannett in McLean, Va., but her two-decade media career spans across markets including Nashville, San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area and Denver. An advocate for newspaper products – both print and digital – Brewer embraces the current transition in consumer media consumption. She is known throughout the industry for developing deep customer relationships and customized, multi-platform solutions designed to reach consumers in today’s new media environment. Brewer is a native of St. Louis and holds a journalism degree from Anderson University in Indiana.
